Exo Dome Projection – Generative Visuals Software
For this project, I was tasked with creating the generative videos that covered the majestic Sphere displayed at Bolívar Square in Bogotá for the 2023 Christmas Season Show. Bolívar Square is an iconic public space in Colombia, often used for major events and social demonstrations. Our Sphere, a 25-meter-tall Exo-Dome, was part of a show conceptualized by Sergio Mantilla, with technical production by Traffic Studio. The event also featured a live band, fireworks, and a large array of lights and video screens.
To generate the visuals for the Sphere, I developed custom software using TouchDesigner. This software is an evolution of my Somas project, combined with my DomeLab project. The generative visuals were rendered in 4K at 48FPS to be used by the production team in the live show, and all visuals were fully audio-reactive.
